Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

Tight Fit
I ordered this in a size 1, but it is very tight. The fabric also started to pill after only a couple of wears. I was expecting a lot better quality.

Poor Quality
No where near the quality of other JP t"s I have. The material is scratchy, very substandard and the color is muddy at best.

Nice but overpriced
Nice little t-shirt, but 60 bucks?! It's really nothing special and looks way better on the shopbop model than in reality. It's also kind of small and short, I bought size 2 (usually I'd go for 1) because I read a warning by another reviewer that it was tiny It was just right on the small side. I wear it for layering, it's really not pretty enough to wear on its own. It's more like thermal underwear.

James Perse is my favorite brand! I love everything he makes. This t-shirt is a staple in my wardrobe. It hugs the body without being clingy. It is thin enough to be extremely soft, but not so thin that it is see through. You can dress it up or just wear it with jeans. I have washed it a million times and it still looks the way it did when I bought it. This is well worth the money!

cute but quite small
i buy quite a bit of james perse items and usually wear a 1(small) but ordered this and it was tiny. i think i may need to go up another size or two.
