super flattering
Rachel Pally generally runs a little on the big side I think. I am usually a small or x-small, but definitely an xs in her dresses. The way this dress drapes is really beautiful and flattering. The fabric seems a little heavy for a strapless dress, like it's pulling the whole thing down, but I've worn this several times and never had a problem.

Runs very big
I usually love Rachel Pally clothes. However this dress ran very big. I ordered the small. The part that was very big was the top part, by the chest area. It kept on falling, even with a strapless bra. If you are moderately small chested (I am a 34B), I would not order this dress.

Beautiful dress
I really love this dress, it is so pretty. I ordered the cream but unfortunately it totally washed me out. It looked terrible on me so I returned it. You need a olive or tanned complexion to pull this one off I think (even though it looks amazing on the model).
In terms of sizing. I am a US 8 and always take a medium. The medium seemed fine for me but I do have a big bust so my chest kept it up. If I had smaller breasts I think the dress would have fallen down and I would have definitely needed a smaller size. I didnt like that the dress made my breast look tiny. It could have been because there was alot of material at the front, not sure??
Nice material too and I love the detailing on the back of the dress.

So comfy
I bought this dress to wear as my getting ready dress on my wedding day...it was so comfy and easy to get off without runing hair and makeup. Like most RP dresses it runs crazy long, especially for a short girl like me, I'm 5'2". I ordered the XS and its definitely a bit loose, probably could have gone with XXS, but regardless its a must have. I wore it on my honeymoon too and got a million compliments. I plan to order the black one for this summer and my anniversay vacation!!

Fits as pictured. Very comfortable and flattering. It's a tad long if you are wearing with flats. I'm 5'6 and it drags on the ground.

good but need improvements
if you are looking for a stunner piece this is NOT it.
it's rather relaxed than glam cuz of the thickness of the jersey. it's very easy to wear. soft and comfy. long but i think it's the intention so you can adjust the length to your liking. i do have to agree with the reviews that the draping on the hip is a bit messy, also the fabrics are so heavy that my bra was showing a few times just over a brunch!

Great Black Maxi
Like the other reviewers stated this dress does run large. I'm usually a size 4 (my measurements are 35", 28", 35") or a medium. For this dress I chose a small and it does fit but I could have probably gone for an XS since the top part is still a little lose. The dress drapes beautifully and it is a heavier dress. I noticed the the top is thinner which is why it is looser. The pockets are a nice touch as well.

I got it in a cream color - love the design. I agree with previous reviewers, it is long, and definitely get the smaller size. Love the style.

the fabric is very soft and smooth but since there's too much of it the dress was too heavy to hold itself up...kept sliding...and the drape on the side hangs messier than i thought it would be. not for me
