Basic/chic
The zipper is a little stubborn, and noisy when you walk. But they go with anything. I really like these shoes.

Not worth it - even at sale price
Construction and quality seemed pretty good, but the heel are is loose and looks/feels strange. I giggled at the other reviewers mentioning the "loud zipper," but seriously, it is bad. Returning these. A couple pluses - heel height is nice and they seem comfortable enough.

I bought these boots in black. The leather looks of decent quality, just not incredibly supple. The sole is comfortable, and the heel is very walkable. They look great with skinny jeans! However, the zipper is a terrible flaw. Not only is it incredibly loud--it makes a terrible clanging when you walk--but it continually slides down and un-zips itself; it seems as though the zipper is too heavy.
It is unfortunate that it took me many wears to realize this about the zipper, otherwise these would have been returned.

Comfort and Style
Some reviews are correct; the leather is not super-fine looking. However, these shoes are reasonably priced, compared to other leather ankle boots. The mediocre quality of the leather is only really noticeable from up-close and still looks better than faux leather. I'm hoping that the leather will look better with age.
I didn't really notice the zipper clanging. If there is any noise coming from the zipper, it is definitely softer than the sound of the heel. The zipper is a little difficult to pull down, but that will probably get better with age.
I would definitely recommend these shoes, as the insole is incredibly comfortable (like air) and padded. I've never had a pair of boots that have such a comfortable built-in insole.
The last bit of information: the stuffing is really difficult to yank out. I had to use a pair of tweezers, since it was so compacted.

I absolutely love these shoes. I love them so much, that the day I received the black ones, I ran to the computer to purchase them in red! My only qualm about them is that the zipper gets stuck a little, but if you're careful zipping them on and off, your golden. The zipper does make some noise when you're walking, but I've grown to love that as well. The first time I wore them out, I didn't wear socks and not only DID NOT get blisters, but my feet felt great! I'm clearly a lady in love :)

Cute, but klunky
Boot fits great, true to size. However, I think the zipper is very klunky and loud when you walk. Wish the zipper was more stiff instead of very dangly. Will "look" cute though with jeans or a dress
