Designer

Founded in 2000, Coclico (French for "poppy flower") Shoes is the creation of Sandra Canselier, a French expatriate living in New York. A native of Brittany, France, Canselier's family has been making shoes for three generations, a background that led Canselier to start her own line and open a boutique in Nolita. Crafted in Spain using sustainable practices, including using vegetable-based dyes, local suppliers, and recycled shoe boxes, Coclico Shoes pair style with comfort for a beautiful, guilt-free aesthetic.

Absolutely Fabulous
These shoes are utterly gorgeous and the fine craftsmanship is obvious throughout. The leather is soft and clearly high quality, and the scent is intoxicating. I have the gray, which plays off the tone of the wood beautifully. The velcro back is a little unusual at first, but it is easy to make the shoes fit snugly. They are completely versatile - very sexy yet not overly dressy, so they can be worn with a variety of things. I am ecstatic to have these shoes.

Clog Sandal
Love the shoe. Fit is true to size. The only drawback is the velcro closure in the back. It's great for ease of getting the shoe on, but I am worried about what happens if the shoe stretches. But I guess that doesn't bother me too much as I bought both colors in the sandal because of the versatilityof the look. Can wear them with my rolled jeans, straight led, boot cut, large flare, etc.
