Larger than expected but...
I have a wide foot, so my usual size worked for me. I can see how, like the previous reviewer said, that if you have narrow feet, it may be too large for you. I bought the blue colour so can't comment on the taupe, but the shoe is super cute and super comfortable. Now that taupe is on sale, may contemplate getting that colour too.

Super cute but too big!
I ordered size 10 (I am normally 10 US) but they were too big - both length and width. I have a long narrow foot so normally prefer designer/Italian shoes since they seem cut for that type of foot, and these were just too wide and big for me. Unfortunate :(
