Bigger is better
I have these in black. I am going to get the gold. I have huge curly hair and this locks down my chignons like my beloved claw clamps but with a sleeker edgier look.

Hair Clips
Discoloured after one wear, they catch and break your hair and also fall out instantly so you have to pin them in with Bobby pins. Overall completely unusable/unfunctionable.

Cute but...
The idea of these are great, but in reality they're not very. They look nice but after a few wears the colour of the silver starts to go yellowish. The metal is not as strong as smaller clips like these, and the quality of the metal is a bit cheap, especially at the rivet. It slides down if you don't clip a big quantity of hair or twist your hair first. I do like the look of them though, too bad they're not as nice as the little ones from Goody!

Cute look, not strong
This clip looks really cool and is easy to work with. Two drawbacks though, it is not as strong as the smaller clips it tries to mimic, so closing it on a large amount of hair doesn't work. Also, I got some of my hair caught in the clasp of the pointed side where the two pieces come together
