Love these jeans!
Extremely flattering pants. Tuck you in all the right places, slimming, and lengthening! I think it's because of how they are tight to just below the knees and then start to flare out versus other flare pants that flare at the knee. Also you can definitely tell they won't stretch out and sag like some jeans do. They do feel a tad longer than the stated 35" inseam though, but it's an easy fix. My first pair from this line and I'll definitely be back for more.

not high enough jeans
these jeans fit well but they were not really high waisted. They fell below my belly button and weren't what I was expecting, however the fit as usual with the dl jeans was good. Cute style!

DL1961
Well while I love the leggings that this designer produces (thinking DL is David Lerner) the same guy, I didn't really love this jean. The fit was okay but I just didn't love the wash at all. I was expecting a dark wash as the pic, but when I opened them I was kinda like, 'oh'. They just had this blue wash with streaks of white down them - just not my forte. Also, they really didn't come as long as expected. I am 5'8 so I need at least 35" and up. But one pro is that they were well made. The stitching is very tight and clean.
Oh well, I am grateful to Shopbop though because they are thinking about us tall ladies and there are others to choose from. So back they go!

A Closet Must Have!
Hands down, these are the best flares ever! These jeans are super soft and comfortable. They fit and hug my curves and stretch without getting too loose. I am 5'4, so they are a bit long for me, but I only plan to wear these with heels anyway and I also like my flares to cover most of my shoe, so the length is not an issue for me. The length of these jeans and some heels really elongate the body and give the appearance of super long legs and a slimmer look. Also, the high waist isn't overly done, it's just perfect and flattering for alll body types.
