Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss launched her collection in 1998 because she was unable to find wearable, beautiful clothes for her body type. HUGE
As per the other reviewers, this dress runs big. I ordered a size 2 (I am usually a size 4) and I was still swimming in this dress. I also found that the skirt puffs out, drawing unflattering attention to your hips. The colour is gorgeous and the fabric is great, but I didn't love the dress enough to get it altered another size smaller. Returned!

I fell in love with this dress, I have read the previous reviews and decided to order on one size smaller than I am (and I am a true 4). I received my dress today in size 2 and I got so upset when i tried it on. It's big! I should have ordered size 0!!! I'll return this dress first thing tomorrow. I would recommend to order not only one size smaller, maybe even two!
PS. It looks good, but for the summer I think it would be too hot in it, because the fabric is very thick (((

I only give fives if it is absolutely positively perfect. This comes very close. The color is beautiful.
The dress looks better with heels than without. Like other reviews, the dress runs about a half size big, but it still looks good. If you're between sizes, choose the smaller size.
The only problem I have with the fit is the bottom of the cup is in kind of a weird place, but it's not terrible.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! The color is stunning and the materal is amazing. It does run big so I would definitely recommend ordering at least a size down, but its definitely worth every penny!

All around amazing!
I absolutely love this dress, I searched all over to find it in a size 4 after it was completely sold out on Shopbop (glad to see more sizes were in). I found one store in WV that had it and shipped it to me, and I am so glad I ordered it. It fits perfect and is so cute. The fabric is amazing, and the color is just spot on. I love that the dress has pockets, too. Since it does have a fuller skirt I recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. I was on the fence because some shoshanna styles run tighter on me even though I am a true 4. The 4 fit perfect. I just ordered my 2nd shoshanna dress today, I am hooked!
