I own a few Spanx products to use under skirts and dresses to avoid a VPL. This was a disappointment. Fabric appears to be too thin so does not smooth or shape. Will be returning.

Spanx High Waisted Shaper
This was somewhat smaller than I thought it would be for a large, I do love the feel of it and once I get my bigger size, extra large,, I'm sure it'll be perfect. I guess my five extra pounds that I thought would squeeze into it, was just a little much for the large, because it''s all in the derriere and couldn't get up any further, and maybe its a liitle more than 5. I am looking forward to wearing my new size as soon as it arrives. This will definitely give me a real shape once again.

Reviews convinced me to buy but I found the top rolled down when I did my test run for an hour. It could be as a result of less than great sizing help perhaps, I don't know. Not sure if I will risk wearing the garment it would be a catastrophe for it to roll when out. It was my first purchase of this type of garment and I'm disappointed.

Good but not my favourite Spanx.
These are good. The fabric is so soft and smooth but I thought the price meant more superior firming but I find the In Power Super Higher Power Shaper holds everything in better. It is still a very effective product and quite comfortable but I would stick to the other one, even though it is not as pretty as far as looks go, for a more firm hold.

I love love love this Simplicity shaper!!! I already have other styles of shapewear from Spanx, but this one is the best. It's comfortable, doesn't fall down and no lines are visible underneath your clothes. It's a little more expensive compared to Spanx's other styles. But it's definitely worth it. If you're still deciding on buying it or not, please buy it.
