Whiskering
Based on the reviews of these jeans, I thought I'd be able to disregard the wash/whiskering. After all, they are everything I'm looking for in a jean: soft, skinnies in a higher rise. But light horizontal lines going across your upper thighs is not a good look. Period.
Nice jeans-- a solid color would make these a must have.
I did return, that type of wash is not for me.

I completely agree with the other reviewer(s) who said every woman should have a pair of these. They are a mid-weight denim that molds to your body and are as comfortable as leggings. They are extremely flattering.

My new favorite CE
If you. Are a true current Elliot fan, I'm sure you have multiple pairs in your closet. As the owner of 7 pairs of CE, I was excited to see a high wasted jean. I prefer "mom sized" rather than high wasted because this jean is not a true high wasted jean. The jean comes up a little below your belly button as opposed to the typical high wasted which sits at or above the belly button. Regardless, these jeans are sooooooooo flattering. They keep all my imperfections (aka my love handles) tucked in, and are very slimming. Beyond that, they are super soft, a great color, and are now my new favorite pair of jeans. I'm buying another pair immediately! EVERY WOMAN NEEDS A PAIR OF THESE!!!

Best jeans in years!
I am a J Brand fan of note. Every time in the past I have tried Current Elliot I have thought they are just not the right cut for me... well until this pair of winners! They are super soft and incredibly comfortable, they are very flattering and make me feel fantastic. They hold it all in while giving you shape and a bit of stretch and the wash is just spot on! Great great purchase and bound to be worn for years as the quality is there!

Finally! A Skinny That's COMFY!
I am a J Brand fan and have so many of their skinnies that I wasn't sure about buying this Current Elliot pair. Well am I glad I did because it is SUPER! It's SO soft and comfy I hardly feel like I'm in skinny jeans at all! And yet the quality of the denim is evident - it holds everything in without pinching, doesn't sag and, even thithaca it is quite a lightweight Denim, it is thick enough that it doesn't show bumps, lumps or VPL. I'm not a fan of whiskering, but am willing to overlook it for the general gorgeousness of the wash. If this is available in other hues, I'll be sure to buy those!

Waist stretches a little during wear, they start to sag a bit. But with a belt that's an easy fix. Easy to dress up or down. Relatively comfortable. Fit true to size

There are definitely my new favorite jeans. The denim is really soft and the high waisted cut is very flattering. I ordered my usual size for current/elliott and they fit perfectly. I'm so glad I purchased these!!
