Cute crop!
Super cute cropped jeans! I thought that they fit just a tad large, maybe about a half a size too big. I am 5'9, but I'm more torso than leg, so I also found them a bit long and had to get them shortened about 2-3 inches to get the same look as the model. Nice wash on these as well...

This is a great jean and it fits true to size. I primarily always wear a 27 and the 27 here fit perfectly. I love the cropped aspect, no hemming plus perfect for summer. Enjoy!

A new favourite
I only started wearing J Brand recently, and have bought them through Shopbop, as my preferred source. I am very pleased with the quality of the denim - soft yet substantial (meaning you feel held in nicely), with a perfect, what I term "dirty" blue wash (blackish dark blue). The gigi style is comfortable and versatile - easy to push into high boots, and fun to wear with desert boots in the spring. I am 5'9" tall and normally wear a 30 in Hudson/sevens, but find the J Brand a smaller cut usually, and so bought the 31. These are loose (as shown in the picture) and I need to wear a belt, but if you're handy with a needle, a couple of darts at the back and they fit beautifully - comfortably body-skimming.

Just great cropped jeans
Well I have to say that J Brand are a revelation to me! These are lovely comfy jeans. Like wearing track pants only cooler.
The cropped but flared style makes your legs look longer. I find that cropped skinny jeans make your legs look like short sausages...but not these. Love them. I will be back J Brand!

Love the length. I'm only 5'1", size small, so I like to go for cropped jeans that hit my ankle. I think the slight flare at the ankle is really flattering Actually makes you look taller than a crop slim leg.
My only slight negative would be the way the butt area fits. I have a bit of curve back there, and these jeans seem to flatten it instead of enhancing & makign it look good. Maybe if the waist came in a bit more it would fix that problem?
Overall, cute with long length tops, because I don't like the back, but makes your legs look great.

Great jeans if only......
This was my first J Brand purchase and I think it'll probably be my last. I don't think J Brands are made for my body type which is petite and curvy. On a hunch I bought one size up from my usual size. I found the waist to be quite loose but this can easily be fixed by wearing a belt, but the knees are quite fitted. However, the fabric is fabulous and that's the main reason I'm keeping this purchase.

Just slightly large?
Just got my Gigi, thanks again to super fast shipping by shop bop. I actually got a 26 in the colored skinnies of j brand, and got 25 in these. Not sure why this pair's rise feels lower than the skinnies, although both are 8.5 in. maybe bec it's slightly large.. ? since it may stretch with wear i may have to alter the waist. i like it though, but i'm not v tall, it comes down to my ankles. if i want it to look like model's i'll have to hem it by maybe an inch or slightly more.. I'm usually 25 in 7s and citizen..
