stripes ahoy

I have several Shoshanna dresses and loved this one as well . The fabric, colors and fit were great. I thought it might be too colorful but it wasn't. Since I try to be a smart shopper ,I realized it's more of a summer dress and I don't really need it so went back .It seemed a bit pricy at almost $200 for a fun summer frock, and Lord and Taylor had it on sale (briefly) for $35 in a size larger than I needed .I should have grabbed it and had it altered. I'll take my chances and see if the price comes down.

Runs A Bit Large

Though I'm small (especially in the back and chest area) so it might just be me. I'm 5'5 and 100lbs and I wear a 32 A. When I climbed in I knew the dress was going to be large but the pattern and fabric are AMAZING and I just wanted to pretend it would fit for a second. Then I lifted my arms and the dress fell to the floor. It's very difficult finding a strapless dress that fits me because I am so petite but if you can swing it this dress is truly lovely.
