NIce but Annoying
These are a great boot for the price but personally I found the straps annoying as one slipped further than the other so I could never get the look right as one sock kept being exposed.

Personally I feel they run small..
Love these boots... however I ordered my true size 8 and they felt way to snug. I am not planning on wearing socks with these when its 100 degrees here in Texas, but still they were way to SNUG for my liking. I will be reordering them in a 8 1/2 i like my feet to be able to breathe! I recommend sizing up. I believe this shoe has been redesigned , thus making older reviews more obsolete.

First purchase I made in Shopbop and JC helped to make it a good first impression. I ordered these boots with half size up thinking I should be wearing socks. But even wearing thick socks they are still too roomy. I kept them since they are comfy and really suit all kinds of styles.

Tons of compliments
These boots are everything you need. Wore them for the first time today and did not stop getting compliments! The wraps give it a chic feel and the slouchy flaps give the boots some edge. The added heel gives a sense of femininity without the pain. I wore the boots all day and into the evening and my feet were fine. Not bad for the first day!
Boots are true to size I'm usually a 6 1/2 and was going between the 7 and 7 1/2 because I wanted room for my socks. Although the 7 1/2 are easier to get my feet in there, I love the look of the 7 more. The 7 1/2 just looked bigger in the mirror. Don't listen to past reviews about the shoes looking cheap. Yes, the shoe box is very kiddy looking but you're not buying the shoes for the box. Get these shoes! You won't regret it!

Perfect Boot!
I love these boots, I wear them almost every day! They have a slightly edgy look but can also be folded over which is very versatile. I get tons of compliments when I wear them and definitely would buy again. The quality is great (leather hasn't shown any signs of wear) and they are super comfy! Definitely recommend!

Not impressed and even dissapointed
I was not impressed with quality , the forward part of a calf was used to fall down, I have no idea what way the designer of these boots assumed them to be worn, but I had to truncate straps and to glue together slits on each side.And they go one full size larger

Easiest Boots To Wear
I'd written an earlier review ("Underwhelmed") and I take it all back - I received a new pair that is even better - the FRANCE print on the 'tongue' isn't there anymore, the leather is more distressed and interesting.
I bought these last year and was devastated when I broke the heel, now I have them again, bought from Shopbop as an xmas gift, and I don't know how I lived without these. The way the top lies is perfect - you know how if your skinny jeans aren't the perfect length or aren't quite skinny enough at the bottom sometimes there's weird bunching? The top of these boots hides that, making them very easy to wear and extremely comfortable. They go with absolutely everything and I reach for them day after day. Toe is not too round, not too trendy. Contemplating getting a second color, they are that amazing. And Shopbop is amazing, the very best in online shopping, in my opinion.
