Designer
Inspired by lingerie, late nights, and literature, the Elkin clothing line was created by Los Angeles sisters Brit and Kara Smith. Brit has long had a love affair with lingerie and Kara has long had a habit of staying out late and falling asleep in her clothes. Combining these elements, Elkin was born - a versatile collection of everyday apparel inspired by bedtime fashion. For each piece sold, a children's book is donated through HOPE Campaign, as a tribute to the sisters' lifelong love of reading.

Favorite new piece
I usually wear smalls but I chose medium because I have a long torso and the material doesn't stretch. That being said, I'm falling in love with Elkin and I LOVE my new bodysuit. The way this blouses when worn with high waisted skirts is perfect! It's super adorable to go out in, even at night. The fit is effortless and the color is beautiful. Glowing review from me. - S

This is pretty, but it just didn't look great on me. Maybe if I had a bigger chest, but it just wasn't the right fit. I'm a 30/32B and 0 bottom and I just felt like the bottom fit better than the top. I probably would've liked it more as a top.

Any label that would combine Literature and Lingerie as it's key influence, has won my heart already. This Elkin piece is truly gorgeous and the silk is amazing. Beautiful color. Feels like wearing nothing at all. The lace is soft and although the piece looks delicate, it's surprisingly strong and very well made. I bought the XS and although I have a small bust, it fits me perfectly!
