I have a couple of Giles & Brother pieces because I like the sturdiness of the make and good construction of their designs. The encrusted Cortina Cuff is somewhat unusual for G&B given the detailed gem work and bright color. I was very disappointed to find that one of the stones had come loose from the cuff during delivery. Worried that the bracelet would become a long, sad story of more missing stones, I returned the cuff without having worn it. Not a fault of the construction, but more a personal design preference, I also wish the cuff's edges were a bit closer together since there is a lot of negative space between the two. Displeased to report that the Cortina Cuff is costume jewelry quality at a relatively high price.
