Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Not good
I returned this item, because it is not good idea to sigle lager on the top and double layer on the bottom, it just looks odd. In additon, the fabric is not as comfortable as others, because it is 100% cotton, which makes it tight on the hips. I got two double layer dress last year, it is comfy and fits perfectly, and it is double layer the whole dress. That is what I expect from James Perse.

Perfect for Summer
I was really happy that this little dress seems to fit perfect. The ruching on bottom does wonders for my lower mid section and hips, I have two little ones...I ordered a 1 and probably could have ordered a 0 but the top would have been too tight and since the fabric is thinner on top I'm glad I went w/a 1 (for reference I'm 112lbs. and fuller on top).

Cute dress for spring & summer
Just got it in the mail. The dress is forgiving due to the gathers, you can either wear it just above the knees or sexy it up by adjusting the gathers. Very versatile. Can't wait to wear this.

Better than a LBD, it's a LGD.
Just got it in the mail now, could not wait to try it on. Wearing it out tonight . As mentioned, it's super forgiving on the bottom - due to the ruching. Was worried about length as I'm only 5'1", but it's also adjustable. Double lined on bottom, little thin on top, but not worth returning over. I'm not a form-fitting type of gal but this is perfect.

Great casual dress
This fits like a dream! Is lined only on the bottom half which is gathered a bit at the seams and is very forgiving. You can shorten or lengthen the bottom a few inches to which ever length you prefer. It is fitted but is still skims the body so it is super flattering. Nice soft comfy fabric. Can be dressed up or down. Think I'm going to buy in another color. I am 5'5 and 135 lbs and I bought size 2.
