I am a huge and long standing fan of Alexis Bittar. I guess I would qualify, by quantity, as a "collector" so, naturally, when I went looking for oversized but delicate hoops, I turned to AB. These earrings are not heavy, and have a delicacy about them which lets them work alone or with other pieces, too. The bling of what is said to be, "crystal encrusted" is actually quite subtle. If you want the hint of crystal, they work. If you are looking for the crystal factor, more specifically, they don't. There is nothing very exciting about these hoops. They are a good, slightly different hoop. If you have others, you could pass and not be missing much. If you need a bigger diameter hoop with a delicate feel and look, these work. Not among the more distinctive Alexis Bittar pieces in my collection, but they have their place, in a more understated mood.
