Embroidered flowers scatter across the shoulders and yoke of a vividly patterned silk-jersey dress. A slender band defines the waist, and ruched panels detail the bodice and drape across the skirt. Double-button closure and hidden back zip. Jersey lining.

Designer

London-based and Indian-born designer Saloni Lodha first sold her handmade womenswear at pop-up shops in Hong Kong. After an appearance at 2007's London Fashion Week, her line of signature dresses skyrocketed to fame and onto the bodies of Naomi Watts and Emma Watson, all before her 30th birthday. Today, the luxurious line of Indian-made Saloni dresses has expanded to include jewelry, scarves, and handbags.

So Unique!
This dress is awesome--I can't wait to wear it out! The fit is definitely true to size, and even though I'm considerably shorter than the model (I'm 5'2"), the proportions are still perfect, and the dress isn't too short or too long. Also, as a shorty I often worry about prints overtaking my frame, but this print isn't too over the top, and the embroidery is beautiful. Even my boyfriend--who rarely notices details like that--said he thought the dress was pretty and unique.
