understated elegance
based on the previous review, i hesitated on ordering this dress. however, i am so pleased i did. the pattern is a bit funky but it is just enough to differ from the typical drab maxi dress. it fits in all the right places to give you a nice shape. the dress is even a bit forgiving in the mid-section. it may not be the dress for the women under 5'6 (unless you pair it with some serious wedges).

beautiful colour and flattering cut. really soft cotton. two things are throwing me off though - the short slip underneath and the pattern placement. maybe it's just the dress i received but i don't like how the lines are in different directions at every seam.
