Diaphanous silk chiffon lends an ethereal quality to a softly draped VIKTOR & ROLF blouse. Dropped overlays finish the shoulders, and the fold-over collar gives way to a button placket. The hem is seamed to subtle peplum effect, and the puff sleeves land at the elbows. Double-layered. Semi-sheer.

Designer
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren were studying at Arnhem Academy of Art and Design in The Netherlands when they began working together. After relocating to Paris in 1993 and focusing on couture, they grabbed the attention of the fashion world and beyond by experimenting with scale and presentation. The unorthodox nature of their designs merged apparel and art, bringing VIKTOR & ROLF to the forefront of high fashion. In 2009 they received Dutch fashion's highest distinction, the MODINT Grand Seigneur award.
