If you are small breasted this is an amazing dress. If you have bigger boobs it makes you look trashy. I had to return it because my boobs were pouring out of it.

Wow. The dress is simply stunning! Can't wait to wear it at this year's company Xmas party. Got it in blue. I sat on this purchase for a long time as I was torn on the sizing due to all the reviews and of course the price. I bought a size 4 and it's perfect in the bib part (I'm a 34B). In the waist I can just do it up (I'm a 26-27 jeans). I might move the clasps in the waist a few mm just to give myself some extra room to breath. Yes, it is too long but a small job for any alteration place. I'm so excited!

I've been drooling over this dress forever so when I finally took the plunge and purchased it I feel like I was let down. The material and the overall dress is beautiful and the design is like none other - but I was a bit disappointed with the poor craftsmanship of the cheap clasps/hook closure. I feel as though they could come apart at any moment. I'm debating on whether or not to keep it. Or to exchange it for better crafted dress. This dress definitely runs WAY small compared to street sizes. I ordered a 6, though it fits I feel like there's not much wiggle room. I'm 5'6, 120lbs and 34B. Very average, lean body type and I would definitely need to a good hem, alterations to the straps (I don't have a super model torso) and maybe some alterations to the bibb, smaller side of 34B. So be prepared to shell out money for that. Otherwise it's a gorgeous dress, and if I had money to flaunt I'd have one in every color!

The dress is gorgeous and really long. I am 5'9 and can wear heels :) But it runs at least one size too small in the waist where it clasps.

Gorgeous sapphire blue color but very small waist with loose fitting top. I am 32C but the top would have required a lot of alteration to allow the fabric to sit closely to my body, along with a lot of double stick tape. Too much alteration required to fit.

Although very pricey, this dress is absolutely gorgeous! The workmanship is flawless and the silk is of the highest quality. Others have said that the material is too thin, but I personally think this adds to the elegant drapey look of the dress and it certainly isn't translucent. I chose it in Emerald and the colour is beautiful, though it seems slightly darker and brighter than portrayed. I also have UK 34DD boobs and I still fit a size 6 - JUST! The only problem is that this means the dress gapes at the side, but I'm having it altered so I'm sure this will be sorted. It is also slightly big around the waist and very long but these are only minor problems which can easily be fixed. Very flattering and all in all I am in love with this dress. Oh, and to all of those in New Zealand - I would reccommend opting for Shopbop Global Express Delivery (duty and tax included). I got charged $213 ontop of the price of the dress by choosing the regular Express Delivery.

This dress is really stunning. I originally bought it in a size 0 before I read the other reviews that said it ran a size small. They were correct. I ended up returning it and getting a size 2 and that fit much more comfortable around the high waist part. I do have to get the straps shortened and the hem, but it is worth it for this dress. I can also be worn with a Nubra if you are uncomfortable going braless or want some extra support since there is none in the dress.

The sizing was as expected, going off of the dimensions of the model in the photo. However, the top is quite big (and i'm not THAT small on top!). The dress is also very long (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Definitely needed tailoring. What made me return the dress was that the skirt was translucent and unlined. Felt and looked very cheap in person.

I am 5'6", 130 pounds, and a 34B. I ordered this dress in a 4. The chest area fit perfectly, but the waist was WAAY too small. I couldn't come close to buttoning up the hooks - at least 1 - 2 inches away from coming together. The dress was also long, but can be easily hemmed. The band at the waist doesn't have a seam, so I don't think it is possible to get the waist taken out, and definitely not by as much as I would need it. The dress is very beautiful, so now I am debating whether to order it in a larger size, but then I would need to get the chest taken in.

Absolutely gorgeous dress - got a size 2 in the green, and the color is stunning. The silk is great quality and the movement is amazing. I am 5'7" and wore 3" heels, but still needed it hemmed a bit, and to make it fit like a glove I ended up getting the straps shortened too. The waist was perfect though, and if I had gotten a 0 it might have been a bit too small. After the alterations I didn't need any tape, even for dancing, and I got a million compliments on it all evening. Can't wait to wear it again!
