Description

This collarless tweed jacket features a zigzag pattern and a zip closure. Zip bust pockets and slant hip pockets. Gathered elastic at hem and at cuffs. Long sleeves. Lined.

* 19" long, measured from shoulder.
* Fabrication: Tweed.
* Shell: 50% cotton/27% silk/9% viscose/5% acrylic/4% linen/3% polyamide/2% polyester.
* Lining: 100% silk.
* Wash cold.
* Imported.
* Bottom layer sold separately.

Designer

French brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton bring their background in the music industry to their designs. They gained experience in fashion while running the family's business, and in 2002 decided to launch their own line. IRO owes its name to the Japanese word for "color," and the Bitton brothers combine luminous vintage prints with city-chic attitude. Inspired by the trendy, jet-setting crowd, Laurent and Arik have created a sexy, playful, and energetic line of clothing.

Gorgeous and unique jacket!

I have to admit that I bought this jacket from a different retailer because it was on sale, but I am so smitten that I had to leave a review here. I normally really dislike cropped jackets, as I am short-waisted and large-chested. However, for some reason the proportions of this jacket just look right when paired with a hip-length (or longer) plain tank/tee. It looks especially gorgeous open. The bright colours are slightly muted so thy flatter a wide range of skin tones and go well with jeans. I think it can also be styled to be work-appropriate. The quality is amazing, with an interior lined entirely with silk. If you're not totally convinced, google pics of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing this jacket and yes, it will make you look that good!
