| 1. With a bra on, wrap a tape measure snugly, but not too tightly, around your rib cage, just below your bust line. This is your band size (US/UK sizing uses inches). | ||||||

This is a really useful item to invest and its going to last you for pretty long.
you can use it as an under layer for all the see through clothes without looking tarty.

5' tall, petite frame. bought P - perfect fit. the only thing keeping me from give 5 stars is that the halter straps are a bit short - which makes the hole smaller for someone to put their head thru it. it was right for me but I can't imagine for someone who has a bigger head.

Great bra top - no necklace needed
I saw its featured look on the Helmut website - I simulated that look and it turned out perfectly! It is true it is quite difficult to get into. I am a petite person and I ordered a P - I am small chested too. It's a bit tight; after wearing it for 4 hrs I feel a lot of pressure on my breasts. I am ordering the next one one size up in white. That should give plenty of room my head to get through and not feeling constricted at the chest.
The look is flawless - adds a lot of interest to the neck line and collar bone area without any accessories; also the bra is twisted to one side so people's eyes linger a long time trying to figure out what it is. The minimalist look with the maximum effect achieved.

I got this bra in small and was concerned that it might be too tiny. i am 32 C. It fits perfectly. I love it under Helmut Lang sheer net sweaters and tops. Great piece!

I love this bra! It looks so good under sweaters (especially helmut lang ones) and loose fitting tees. I love that you can wear it a couple of ways. Pieces like this really make a simple outfit. I'd say true to size because I'm a C cup and assumed a medium would fit because I was afraid a small would smash them a bit. The medium fits great, with some breathing room.

Fits a little bit strange
I really wanted to love this bra, as I think it looks fabulous under (semi-) sheer tops or those with a broader neckline where you just catch a glimpse of this bra's straps. I am usually a size 32B for bras, and as far as that was concerned, the fit was pretty nice: Not too constricting, but giving a good amount of support. Also the fabric was soft to the skin, not too thin or thick, with a good amount of stretch. However, the reason why I returned it is the fact that - for me - it was really hard to put it on?! May sound ridiculous, but I had real hard times getting my head through the two straps to have it fit like in the picture. Don't know exactly how this works out for other people, but for me, this was too uncomfortable. What a pity!
