This is my first pair of jeans from 'Citizens of Humanity' and I am totally in love with it. You know that feelings of euphoria that you get when you wear a pair of great jeans that ticked everything on your checklist? Yup, I feel like a million bucks when wearing them. The best part that I really like - they cover my tummy snugly. I totally concur with the other reviewers and my only regret is that I should have gotten another pair. Oh, as I am a midget (164 cm) compared to the model, a bit of alteration is needed but this does not detract from the fact that this is a great pair of jeans for anyone looking for something high-waisted.

GREAT JEANS!!!
I have been a fan of high waisted jeans for 16 years now. So when I saw these I had to have them, also cause I was looking for something that was between skinny and straight leg, which is what I would consider these to be. The fit is great! It's slim and they look so good on. And these are true high waisted jeans. Most of the high waisted jeans they sell aren't really high waisted. And some high waisted jeans can get really uncomfortable in the stomach area when sitting or after eating. But these are soooo comfy. Don't have that problem at all. Looks just like the pic with the whiskering and all. Great faded black color. So glad I purchased this. True to size. I wear a sz 25. My waist is approx 26" and my hips are approx 34". These fit perfect.

great flattering fit in black jeans
Citizens of Humanity makes a great fitting jean. There is no gap at the back waist that seems so common in many brands. The dull black color, soft feel, button front, and straight leg sets these jeans apart from others. The rise of these high rise jeans is perfect, hits just below belly button, hiding and firming the belly. I love them.

Did I really need another pair of jeans?
Apparently yes! And this was my second pair of Arley denims from COH. The rarity of a high waisted straight leg prompted me to buy this the moment it went on sale! I had to settle with one size down, but because the Denim was soft and stretchy, it still fit me nicely. Love the comfort and really adore the black wash. With a jet black wash, denim tends to look either like semi-work attire or leggings/jeggings. This wash did neither! It looks like a pair of well worn black jeans! Perfect! Snag your size whilst it's on sale!!!
