Description

Snow leopards run through the tropical foliage print on this unique print silk blouse. A contrast panel conceals the button closure at the front, and sharp pleats lend a subtle lift to the shoulders. The long sleeves end in buttoned cuffs. Semi-sheer.

Designer

Launched in the resort 2012 season, Jeunesse is a truly unique fashion concept conceived by AIKO Creative Director Cynthia Mittweg. Mittweg plans to experiment with collaborations each season, focusing on one specialty item per partnership. The inaugural effort: a wear-forever blouse designed with stylist Cristina Ehrlich. "I feel as though women are enjoying luxury and dressing up on some level again," says Mittweg. "Cristina has an incredible collection of vintage blouses and wears them often."

Beautiful but very big
I was really drawn to the print of this shirt, an the silk fabric is beautiful. The shoulders of this blouse are huge! I got the small and I am 5' 9" with fairly broad shoulders. It definitely fits big. It has gathers at the shoulder too. I only wear it under a jacket or cardigan.

Nice pattern, but...
Makes shoulders look too wide (I'm xxs petite) and can't wear it buttoned to the top (to layer a necklace under the collar) without fabric pulling--warping it. Collar is very flimsy and practically needs collar stays but fabric is too delicate to allow for it. That's probably why there aren't any proper zoomed pics of collar buttoned, the pointy parts roll up/doesn't hold form. Clearly, I have a lot of problems with this collar, lol.
