It is big enough to hold my full-sized wallet, a water bottle, some snacks and other small items I use throughout the day. The raw side of the strap can grip on to your clothing (a good thing so the strap doesn't slip off your shoulder).

The bag is lighter than I thought, which is good I think as long as it'd durable. I love the shape/style and especially the size, not to big nor small, suitable for everyday use. I'm just digging it that Madewell makes these simple yet very lovely products!

Perfect Everyday Purse
I've been eyeing this bag for a while, as I know Madewell makes things well (ha!) ... I'm loving the size of it, perfect for everyday. I can fit a full sized wallet, a small makeup bag, my kindle and my phone and still have room where it doesn't look overfilled. The leather is very supple, and I'm excited to see the natural wear of the brown leather. The straps are study, but beware of a raw side - it can stick to you clothing. Also, the zipper was a little tough to use the first few times; that went way after a few uses.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase! I may get the black one next!
