How To Measure
Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

Perfect length
Have read the reviews so I sized up to 29 (I am a 5'5" and usually go with size27 Levi's jeans). It fits my hips perfectly but a bit loose on the waistline, not a big deal tho, still love it!

Too Small
I'm always a 24 so when ordering these shorts I got both a 24 and a 25 juts to be safe. However, even the 25 was too small on me so I had to order two sizes up to a 26! Sizing aside, these are super cute and great quality!

True to size!
I love these flattering cut offs that are not too short, not too long and fit like a dream. Just right! I found the sizing totally TTS and was compelled to write a review as a counterpoint to reviews that they run small. I took a 27 which Levi's says is the equivalent to a size 4, which is my size in all pants, jeans and shorts. For reference I am 5'8 1/2" and 125 lbs. I first sized-up but found that in all the cut-offs I tried, I am most definitely a 26 or 27, which aligns exactly with my true size. Want to save you the hassle (I originally ordered in 28s and they had to go back!)

Reading reviews that shorts were too small, so i ordered a 26 when my regular size is 25, sometimes 24 depending on the style.. Shorts are cute, tight on the bum but loose on the waist, now i do like the look so i am happy with them
It all depends on how your waist to hip ratio is; I have a small wait (25" and my hips are 36" ) I would have gotten a 25 and been a tad more satisfied but over all cute shorts and worth the $$, Levis never fails to make your bum look hella good!!

Small just like all the other reviews said. I sized up from my normal 26 in Levi's to a 27 and they were STILL too snug. They are a good length though so I will probably try to order the second size up when its back in stock.

Super cute but don't pay attention to recomended sizing- as other reviewers here said they are VERY small. 2 sizes at least smaller than my regular levi 501 jeans.

I got these in a 27 (what I normally buy in levi jeans) and they were tight (I have a butt and thicker thighs). 28 would be better but I'm worried those will be too loose on my waist. Color and distressing is great though.
