    About the Designer

    All good things come from southern Spain—and now, you can count Charo Ruiz swimwear among them. The Seville native comes from a long line of dressmakers and a vibrant town full of patterns and textures—all reflected in her elegant, color-saturated designs. But Ruiz wasn’t always a designer: she was a model in the ’70s! So it’s clear where her bold, effortless style and creative sense take their cues. Based in Ibiza, and worn all over the globe, Charo Ruiz cover-ups and beachwear feel like a luxurious sunny day wherever they go.
