About the Brand
With previous stints at Christian Dior and Oscar de la Renta, Danish-born, New York City-based designer, Christian Juul Nielsen always knew he wanted to launched his own label. He made it a reality in 2019 with the launch of AKNVAS, the name an anagram of the Danish word for "canvas". AKNVAS's design ethos is minimalist in theory, but the designer uses intricate bubble knits and saturated color to create high-impact maximalist collections.
