As its name suggests, Skin’s collection of relaxed, neutral-heavy wardrobe basics are meant to feel like a natural extension of your body. Founded in 2003 when Wisconsin-based designer Susan Beischel noticed a lack of comfortable lingerie in stores, the label’s first collection encapsulated the easygoing jersey underwear and bras she was searching for. But that was just the beginning: Today the Skin clothing line boasts a full range of wardrobe staples from basic tank tops to slouchy button-downs to short robes—all made from deliciously soft, eco-friendly fabrics.
