About the Brand
Trinidadian designer Aisling Camps founded her eponymous label after her creative instincts drew her away from a career in mechanical engineering—and into a course at the Fashion Institute of Technology (where her design skills blossomed into a full-blown passion for knitwear). The intricate, sculptural silhouettes the brand is known for fuse Camps’s architectural precision with razor-sharp style sensibilities, creating pieces that are both unique and of the moment. From deconstructed sweaters to scarf dresses, each item is either handmade by Aisling Camps's tiny team in Brooklyn or outsourced to a family-run factory in Italy.
