Warm, thick shirt, very slim
Excellent quality and I really want to like mine, but it is much slimmer than expected and fits smaller than the measurements provided. It fits more like a slim dress shirt than a flannel. I would size up if I could but there aren't any left in stock

Awesome Value
I'm one of those shoppers that will trawl the internet to scrutinise every detail to see what I'm paying for. With GV shirts I'm getting nice fabrics, a tailored fit, quality American workmanship and renowned heritage. After doing the math, I think that GV offers value that can't be beat at this price point.
On the sizing, I rated this true to size because I referred to GV's website and not the sizing chart on East Dane or the tagged size which can be misleading. Shopping over the internet, it's a must to measure your body and also a good fitting shirt of yours so that you have a reference point. The XS shirt has a 35" chest (per GV's website) and my chest is 36.5" (or 39" pit-to-pit). The fit is snug and the overall silhouette is very flattering, with the length of the sleeves and length of the body just right.

This material is amazing. So light you can barely feel it and it breathes like a breeze. Love it in the Texas heat.

Worth the price
This is an expensive shirt that is worth the price. I would buy it again. Once you own it - a have to have item.

Very, very slim fit shirt
Nice material and construction, but this shirt fits very slim. Compared to APC or Acne, an XS in this shirt fits more like an XXS in the chest/body but a normal XS in the sleeves. I'd recommend sizing up.

Great shirt/Great service
Beautiful shirt - a little more green and a little less olive than the picture suggests, but just by a little. Very well-made, washes well. Great EastDane service - 2 days as promised, and exchanged a smaller size without issue.

Beautiful, well-made shirts, well worth every dollar. Nice stylish narrow collar, deep colors. Great service from EastDane - received in 2 days and even got a price adjustment in connection with a subsequent sale. Would happily purchase Gitman, and from EastDane, again.

Cool shirt, something different
Really cool shirt from Gitman Vintage. Nicely woven and a good layering piece with a long sleeved tee. I wish it was a little thicker, but a really nicely put together shirt.

Replacement for same shirt in size XL
This Gitman Vintage shirt is great looking - great for all climates as it is not too light weight or too heavy.
I originally ordered an XL and it was too large.
I replaced it with the same shirt in a size L. You never know just how one maker of shirts varies in size to another. I generally take a size XL, but not in this shirt.

LOVE GITMAN SHIRTS BUT DISAPPOINTED
first off i will say Gitman Vintage Shirts is all i wear. however when i received this shirt I was disappointed on the pocket of the shirt. Seems like it was pressed too hard during production and left a shinny pocket. I was disappointed that I had to return it as the fabric and fit is always perfect..

Gitman quality fail
Love Gitman, they are my go to shirt. Odd thing about this shirt was the front placket was lined, and it was a very stiff lining. Gitman shirts usually have soft collars, cuffs and placket. Did email Gitman and they said that this was a mistake but not how it happened.
