About the Brand
After years of honing her design aesthetic on the streets of New York, Parsons School of Design graduate Amanda Uprichard launched her eponymous line in 2005 from a basement in Queens. An NYC party girl turned PTA mom, Uprichard channels her diverse experiences into her collection, each piece paying homage to a particular slice of her history. Uprichard says, “I draw inspiration from everyone. All kinds of women: doctors, writers, lawyers, sisters, cousins, moms, teenagers.” This inspiration is evident in the aesthetic of Amanda Uprichard clothing, which is at once comfortable and luxurious, offering ready-to-wear styles for every woman.
