For someone with less curve?
I love aspects of this sweater but it just doesn't fit me right through the body/midsection. It's semi-fitted through the bust and sticks out at the bottom, above the band. Love to find great sweaters like this that are basics but not boring. The cut of the sleeves adds simple interest & I especially love the dual seaming, raglan & set-in, of the shoulders. Look great on. But I'm not sure what Vince designers were aiming for w/ the cut of the body. It's very slightly shaped (nipped in) at the middle/high waist, yet blousy at the bottom, just about the band. In such a thick knit that extra room above the band just sticks out, at least on me. This sweater would be so much better straighter through the body, without the (slightly) nipped in waist or pooch above the band. And unfortunately my slim but very hourglass shape really highlights this strange cut. I'm sure it's infinitely better on straighter figures though.

Pretty but not white
Upon receipt I was really disappointed to find that this sweater is off-white rather than white, as I really need a white sweater and off-white knit isn't the greatest on me. Was going to return it but the cut and light neutral color has been a good wardrobe filler. The crop length is great with high-waist pants and jeans and the pointelle keeps it from looking like tons of other sweaters. It's also a nice light weight. The XS is true to size for R&B, which tends to run a little smaller than most other brands at this price point (except for some of their oversized styles).

Fave Jeans
These have a holy grail fit on me. McGuire jeans are often really flattering to the rear end, w/ good pocket placement & shape & these are no exception. My derriere never looked so good. They also show all the muscle tone in my legs & give great shape from waist to knee. That's rare for me. They're still fitted just below the knee & then relax a bit, which I like. Have enough super skinny jeans. They're perfect for dressing up or down. The denim is thinner but not too thin. I'm thin but curvy & have difficulty finding mid & high rise jeans that are narrow enough at upper hips & waist. These are perfect. Good stretch for comfort but not too much stretch, so they still give good shape. Love them so much I bought 2 at full price. I typically wear a size 24 in Rag & Bone and J Brand and needed a 23 in these. Perfect length too. I'm only 5'3" but all legs. Many jeans are too short, landing at the base of my calves. These hit just above my ankles, as on model.

favorite boots
Must admit a bit of an addiction to this AW boot. I have the suede OTK version and this ankle version in 3 colors/leathers. The heel height is high enough to look sharp but low enough to wear for hours on my feet. These are gorgeous boots -- not just the heels -- look at the lines of the upper/vamp from the side. They're really beautifully cut. I have a small foot and must wear thick socks (or two pairs) to get away with a size 35. I often need a 34 in high-end shoes (and can't make a 35 fit even with heavy socks) so these probably run a half size smaller than most, but they seem true to size for AW.

Love, love, love
McGuire's Valetta jeans are the most flattering jeans I've ever worn and they're amazingly comfortable. I admit I usually just pay attention to fit because my derriere isn't the greatest. I need jeans that give great shape and have optimal pocket placement (not too far apart). If pants or jeans are also comfortable it's just a bonus. I typically wear a size 24 (J Brand, Rag & Bone, etc) and that's the size I needed in these. (But my black pair of Valettas is a 23 and fit about the same.) I've had a tough time finding mid and high rise jeans that fit because I'm curvy. My old standards J Brand and Rag & Bone have all been too big in the upper hips and waist. Should mention that somehow these Valettas look amazing on my less curvy best friend too. These are a great shade of red with a little bit of fade that only makes it look better. Worth every penny of full price and feel like a gift on sale.

Color better IRL
Really wanted the darker greenish blue but the XS sold out long ago. Not a fan of baby blue but decided to try anyway. The color is so much prettier in person. It's richer, not washed out and it's heathered with a hint of tan. Knit is very soft on skin. Feels great. Fits bigger through the middle than hoped. The cut of the shoulders is really great tho. The seams are cut in so they land about where my bra strap does rather than on my shoulders (or down my arm). Really nice detail to keep it from looking like the boring cut of most every other oversized sweater. Raised extra seams are nice too. Gotta admit the pearls look cheap, tho. The pearl coating isn't thick enough.

Nice and Sleek
Bought these because they were described as compressive, which I really appreciate for workouts (& the slimming affect on my hips) especially when running. I'm able to work out harder in compression gear. But I love these so much for wearing around town that I haven't worn them for workouts. They've been amazing for travel and look more polished, with the taped zipper pocket detail, than basic leggings. Received several compliments. At first sight (& feel) I thought they'd be too thin to sculpt well compared to my other compression leggings, but the fabric is so smooth and opaque they look and wear great. Like another mentioned, they're long. I'm only 5'4" but with long legs for my height and can usually wear a 28" legging inseam just fine. But these stretch so much when I put them on that I have 4" of extra fabric. I tried to spread the length out since other 28" leggings fit fine, but the fabric just doesn't lay as well not stretched. Was worth getting them hemmed.

So easy to wear
Considered buying this for a long time before I finally gave in. I've already got so many oversized sweaters and that's not the most flattering style for my slim but very hourglass figure. But I do love this. The front sides are cut away a little, not just open and that seems to make a nice difference. The openings go far above the waist, too, which is also flattering. But not too high. Doesn't show bra or anything you don't want to. The ruffles give it a slightly more architectural drape/shape, oddly enough, and it really adds something.

Looks backwards on me
Couldn't get over the feeling that on me, the depth of the V cut out made it look like I was wearing the sweater backwards. Would have looked better less plunging. Didn't seem to improve with a tank underneath. I'm very slim but busty. Probably would be more flattering on others. I selected the true to size option because it's meant to be oversized, but it is very much so.

Even better in person
Love merino wool for comfort everyday and polish in professional settings. The style is a nice change from the usual oversized or totally fitted sweaters. It's relaxed and fitted. Flattering to my hourglass figure. Bought my usual XS though the fit on the model suggested it might run small in the bust. (She's wearing a S but they're usually in XS's on this site.) Still blousy with no odd pooching on the sides over the tie like it looks in the last photo here. One fit issue. Not sure if it's me or the cut of the sweater. There's too much fabric under the turtleneck/the neck isn't cut deep enough into the chest. There's a pronounced fold across the top of the chest on me. Should also mention that the rose color looks very different in person. It's darker and more neutral. Maybe a shade of mauve? Still very pretty.
