About the Brand

Isabel Marant didn’t decide to set out to revolutionize the fashion world when she asked her father for a sewing machine in 1982. Tired of not finding clothing she liked in stores, she simply decided to make her own from discarded fabrics. This small step soon led her to the prestigious Studio Berçot fashion school, fashion internships in Paris, and in 1989 launching her eponymous collection.
