About the Designer
New Zealand-born designer Karen Walker celebrates the anti-It-girl: 1930s comic book super-heroines leading double lives, the debauched prom queen who sneaks out after curfew to run with the bad crowd, Ally Sheedy's character in The Breakfast Club. Using the outsider as inspiration, Karen Walker accessories blur the lines between chic and street, luxury and non-luxury, dark and super-cute. Her collection of statement sunglasses and jewelry embodies an alternative blend of not-trying-too-hard cool.

Cute cateyes
I love these glasses. I have them in two colors. They frame any shape of face well and are made of thick plastic.

Beautiful...but earpieces are too wide
I really liked these and would have kept them if the arms were not abnormally wide. I have never had this issue with sunglasses before. These were a good inch and a half wider at the ear than any of my other sunglasses. I'm not sure if this was a problem with my pair only or if Karen Walker makes sunglasses only for gigantic heads. I may try again to see but mine went back.

Eyecatching
I love the drama of these sunglasses. They are very shiny. I was not sure about keeping them for one reason: they are very heavy on the bridge of my nose. They don't slip, they sit nicely on my head. Every time I wear them, I get a little line/mark across my nose. It would have been nice IF the plastic there was rounded OR cushioned in some way.
I think the coolness factor of the glasses (for now) outweighs the little line on my nose.

Very well made
First pair of KW sunglasses I have to say very well made even compared to the most expansive brands I own
