It was a collection of Swedish-style, wooden-soled shoes that earned New York City-based designer and shop owner Karin Bereson cult-favorite status. The clog enthusiast has been an industry darling since 2005, when she first opened the doors to her No. 6 boutique in Nolita and revealed a well-edited selection of under-the-radar designers, vintage pieces, and a newly-launched, in-house label featuring the ‘70s-inspired pairs. Today, No.6 shoes are as successful as ever—her classic clogs, wood-bottom sandals, and block-heeled boots continue to draw fans with their Scandi-cool aesthetic.
