How To Measure
Find a similar style from your wardrobe that fits you just right. To take measurements, lay the garment down on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Measure across the garment at the natural waist and double the measurement.
Rise
Measure from the middle of the waistband to where the inseams (legs) meet.
Leg Opening
Measure across the leg opening, then double the measurement.
Inseam
Measure down the inner leg from the crotch to the leg opening.
Hip
Measure across the garment at the widest part of the hip and double the measurement.

Too long for petites
As a petite gal (5'3), I'm always looking for a pair of pants that doesn't need to be cuffed or hemmed. I loved the high waist and fit at the top of these pants (I got a size 26), but they were roughly 4 inches too long and the ankle area was much looser than I was looking for. I think these are a perfect pair for taller ladies, but I returned mine.

Best black high waisted jeans
After a foray into Cizitens and J Brand land, I'm back with Paige. These are the most flattering high waisted black pants I've ever worn (and trust that I've worn a lot.)
Excellent quality and ALSO very comfortable. I receive a lot of compliments when I wear these.

Suitable for a straighter figure
Normally Paige is a brand that fits me very well. These didn't work as well on me as the waistband felt wide for my hourglass type figure. The fit in the hip and thigh was right though. If you have more of a rectangular figure, these might be a good high-rise choice for you.

Perfect pair of black jeans
Perfect highwaist fit and super comfy. I wear 27 in J Brand and other. Also 27 is a perfect fit in these pair of jeans.
