Overpriced+U Need Thick Bit of Hair.
I bought the silver Large O Barrett from Mrs. President & Co. when it went down 30% in price. I think it was still overpriced, even when discounted. I would not purchase any of this brand's barrettes at full price. Besides price, the biggest issue to consider is thickness of hair. I have thick hair; and yet I have barely enough hair for this barrette. I have to use a lot of hair to get the barrette to hold and I am still not sure it has the potential to hold. One minor slight shake of the head and it is falling out of place. The barrette will certainly not stay put with a small amount of hair. I suspect it is not a good buy for people with thin hair. Price and the limited hold ability account for the 2/5 stars. I will likely return the silver Large O Barrette because of its inability to hold even an above average thickness of hair.
