these earrings were worn once and put away and now when i pulled them out of my jewelry box the gold looks tarnished and is now a mix of silver and gold...very poor quality.

Perfect summer earrings - very light and easy to wear, but large enough to make a statement. Very comfortable.

unusual but understated
Initially I had some trouble threading these into my ears because of the slight curve at the end, but that happens to me with all earrings where the stud isn't completely straight. I haven't had the problems with them sliding out, like other reviewers mentioned. I love that they're unusual enough for people to notice but not garish at all, like some large hoops can be. You can wear these with jeans or with an evening gown.
(Oh, also -- even though I'd read the review that mentioned the resemblance to fish, when they're in your ears, it's totally unnoticeable!)
We'll see if the gold plate lasts, but for the price, I think these are great.

Nice earrings although perhaps a little overprice, as per previous reviews a good alternative to a hoop if you can get past seeing fish when you look in the mirror - sadly I couldn't.
