Shopbop needs to know its products a little better. When I asked customer service for advice on which size to get in these, I was advised a 27. My normal denim size in Paige and most other brands is a 26. I ordered both 26 and 27 just to be safe. Even the 26 was pretty huge on me though - falling off as I walked around, and I am 20 weeks into my second pregnancy so definitely have a significant bump and need maternity clothing. But in these I need at least a 25 and possibly even a 24. Am contemplating whether to go through the hassle of ordering yet again after returning the last 2 pairs. Bottom line: SIZE DOWN at least one size from your normal denim size. Otherwise these jeans seemed good - just hard to tell until I get the sizing right.

More like a shirt!
I bought this jacket after reading about it on a wonderful fashion blog I follow. I was so excited to receive it and had high expectations. It was great in every way - the fit was beautiful, the details fabulous, and the color great. It has but one fatal flaw: the weight of the fabric. It is a stretch to call this a jacket, it is more like a shirt, and even at the sale price ($385), I just could not justify. (I am stunned that anyone would pay full price for this). I felt it would be awkward to layer (again, because it's really a shirt), and in general it did not serve my desire (fantasy?) for an actual jacket. Someone I know who has this jacket in an older version says hers is quite a bit heaver so they must have changed the fabric. Bummer! FYI I am someone who will totally pay high prices for great jackets, but they have to be truly great. This one just misses the mark.
