not bad for the price!
I have one calf that is 2 inches larger than the other. I am petite, but have a sturdy sort of figure. I am five feet tall, and I was pleased with these boots. I tried on the Loeffer Randal boots, the Lanvin boots (that I still covet) so a 600 dollar pair, and a 1000 dollar pair are going to have finer leather and details. I found this boot to be right for the price, but not glove leather-decent. looking through a magazine, there are sandals for the price of these boots! These boots do not make me look shorter or fatter ( I am a size 6, in clothing and shoes) and I was happy with the way these boots fit my bigger leg, and was fine with the way it fit my smaller one. These are lightweight, easy to take on and off, and my jeans fit nicely inside. so these boots are good. much better than buying from a cheaper brand. I see Elizabeth and James as a bridge line, that is, more affordable. If you want glove leather inside and out, you"ll just have to save up for those $1000 boots
