A few issues
I love the Nili Lotan cargo pants, and was hoping these would be a more business casual version of them, but I had a few issues with the fit and design and they went back. First, they have the most annoying back pockets I've ever experienced. Even though they're welt pockets and should, in theory, lie flat, the inner pocket bunched and rode up like crazy just as I walked around trying them on. It did this with both the normal size and the too-large size - I think it's a combo of the pocket fabric and the design of the welt. Also, the rise is long but the fly is short. If you get them slightly loose, you get weird man-crotch that didn't look like an intentional drop-crotch - just looked ill fitting & rode down. The smaller size was just like a skinny stretch chino - cute but the terrible pockets ruined it. I'm not particularly bootylicious - I'd say average - but maybe the pockets would be fine on someone else. I have 6s in the cute Nili Lotan cargos; I tried the 6 and 8 in these.

Way cuter than the pics
I have three pairs of these Edith pants, but the black has become my go-to pair. These are super versatile: they can easily be dressed up for business casual with a little sweater jacket, or dressed down as a lightweight, relaxed alternative to jeans. The fabric has no stretch, and they're meant to be a little relaxed - though unlike some "slouchy" pants they still look neat and trim. I'm a 6/8, 28 in stretch jeans like J Brand, and although the 28s fit, with the lack of stretch and slightly relaxed design I went with the 29. I'm short - 5'4 - and I love the length. Unrolled, they are normal pants length without the need for hemming. But I often roll them to be above ankle. These are comfy in warm weather but should transition perfectly to SoCal fall and winter. And best: machine washable! Totally a buy.

Sumptuous sandal!!
OMG I LOVE this beautiful sandal so much. I had never heard of Valia Gabriel but fell in love with this sandal. I bought a size 38 even though I'm usually a 39 - well, unfortunately for me it runs true to size and I couldn't fit it - however, my loss will be someone else's gain since I'm returning it 4/14. The leather straps are so soft, and the toe ring fits perfectly (not too big like some can be). Also, the footbed is comfortable and I did not slip (which sometimes happens with smooth footbeds). I'm so happy to see a new designer of beautiful flat sandals at this price point!

Cute and comfy!
I agree with the other reviews that the waist does slide down a bit (a belt helps that). I hesitated to keep them for that reason, combined with the price, but they just looked so darn cute on, and the fabric is so comfy but flattering - especially in the thighs. The pants have an intriguing combination of snug, flattering fit combined with interesting gathering, slouching and seaming. After wearing them around all weekend I ordered the second color. A 6 in these fit great. I'm usually a 28 in J Brand, but in Theory I'm a 6 on a good day or an 8 on a day I'm going to be sitting or traveling for hours...

Stiff fabric, dry clean only
Two things you should know about these pants before ordering: 1) even though the Shopbop care description says they're "wash cold," the care tag on the actual pants says "dry clean only." Might not matter to some, but it mattered to me. 2) These are a thick, heavy twill. They are heavy enough that I'm not sure they'd be comfortable for sitting in 12 hours a day, if your job, like mine, unfortunately requires that. The fabric just doesn't move. Also, these seem to run a little large - they were a very roomy 28, although perhaps it's partly the style of the pants. They don't seem like they are meant to be particularly close fitting.

Average, on the frumpy side
I tried these in two colors and two sizes and they just didn't work for me, even though J Brand often works well for me. I'm 5'4, 135lb, usually 6 or 8. The size 28 fit well, but it seemed to pull in crotch area more than most. The 29 was definitely too roomy everywhere, loose in the waist and baggy in the thighs, making it look like your average generic chino. There was just nothing special or particularly flattering about this pant. Also, the black color is a HUGE lint magnet - worse than almost all my other pants. It seemed to suck pet hair and lint from out of thin air.

Beautiful top
I love Raquel Allegra's silk tops, and this one is no exception. I rarely buy sheer things that I need to wear a cami under, but this one is beautiful, pattern placement is great for coverage as the other reviewer noted. It is so versatile too - can be office appropriate, weekend cool, or dinner-date-pretty. It flows beautifully on the body and is light as air. I tuck it in and blouson a bit at work, or leave it flowy - looks great either way and I've already gotten complements. Plus it's hand washable! I hate drycleaning so that's a plus for me. I find Raquel Allegra's sizing to be pretty fluid, and have worn 1, 2 and 3 in her tops and dresses (I'm normally a 6, with linebacker broad shoulders so I often go up to an 8 in tops/jackets). The 2 here is perfect but I would have bought a 1 or 3 also if the 2 wasn't available. Definitely a steal on sale!

Favorite versatile black pants!
These pants are incredibly flattering and look as good with flats as they do with heels. The fabric is incredibly comfortable and thick enough for a little compression while looking sleek and slimming rather than painted on. Aside from fit, I love these because they repel dog hair, lint, etc - a huge convenience for me. These are professional enough to wear in my conservative workplace but cool enough to look edgy with boots and a cool tee. Sizing is TTS to slightly generous - I'm 5'4, 135lb, 39.5" hip and 31" waist and the size 6 is perfect and comfortable (some of my other 6s are feeling tight with my lingering post-holiday weight gain...). Slightly long for me of course, but the fabric is stiff enough that I can fold the hems under and they stay nice and stiff. An awesome buy at this sale price!! Having tried them on now, I would have totally bought them at full price - they are that flattering.

LOVE! Sophisticated flattering flare
Love these jeans - definitely a mid-rise, not a high rise style. The details are great, like the piping on the pockets and the shape of the back pockets. The 27 fit me great (except length of course) - I'm 5'4, 126 lb, about 27-28" waist and 37" hips. These are chic enough to wear to work with a blazer in an office where jeans aren't allowed. I also got the dark blue rinse with the yellow piping but I preferred the black on black - distinctive but subtle. Great buy, especially on sale.

Flattering, cool 1970s silhouette!
I find these pants fairly true to size - I'm about a 27/28 in jeans, waist 28, hips 37, and I found the 6 to fit perfectly. The 6 seemed comparable to Rachel Zoe's denim hutton pant in a size 27 (so perhaps if in between sizes, best to size up). I got them specifically because of the great 1970s silhouette: the higher waist, great flare and drapey swing of the fabric - and I was not disappointed, especially at the sale price. The fabric seems like a good year round weight (here in CA) and has enough weight that it drapes nicely. Of course they are ten miles long, but at 5'4 I need to get everything hemmed, even with 5" heels - the great thing about these is that even with the bottom 6" (at least) cut off, the flare was still large enough to cover my shoe as shown in the model pic. I'd get these in another color if they had my size.
