Almost perfect
I've been on the hunt for a red velvet blazer that didn't scream Talbott's circa 1984. Enter this jacket--the fabric is gorgeous, with jewel undergones and the ombre gives the pattern depth. This is a jacket to dress up or down. I was a bit disconcerted that the arms and shoulders were snug--could've just been me. I sized up to a size 4--which is what the model wears (they usually wear a 2). On me, this meant that the jacket was now looser in the body than I would normally like. But because the jacket has a slightly swingy fit, I don't mind and am keeping the jacket. If you have more boobs, this will be less of a problem for you. The other review mentioned the rolling lapels--yes, the jacket has an unstructured quality, but I don't mind that. The modern shape, the care with which this is made and the gorgeous fabric are enough to make me happy.

And with these shoes, I am addicted
I bought these shoes on impulse. I thought the shape was nice, the studs not overdone so as to be embarrassing in a few years, and the heel height reasonable. It is *so difficult* to find good shoes that are in the 2.5 inch heel range. I can't do 4 inch heels--but am not interested in being relegated to the trash heap of frump, even though I am no longer young and able to party all night. Well, an impulse has turned into worship. These are comfortable, foot flattering shoes, in a design that is at once classic but original: no one will mistake me for wearing, ahem, a Payless knockoff. Attention has been paid to padding, the cut on the side, the cleavage in the front (prior to these shoes, I didn't know I could have foot cleavage) so my little legs look as long as possible. I'm a Loeffler Randall Tamsin convert and am on the hunt for more more more! Sizing: True to Size / As Expected
