Almost sold out and no reviews?
I guess I'll be the first to review this shoe. I received it in the mail today and was disappointed to find that the fit is snugger than expected. I'm a true 8. I've purchased a size 7.5 a few times, but I've never had to go up in size. Most of the shoe fits well, it's just the back that fits so snugly. The material seems unforgiving, so I don't anticipate it will stretch like a good leather or suede. I love the style of the shoe and the aesthetics in person are great. It's a classic loafer with a bit of a heel so you don't feel like you're walking so flat-footed on the ground. I especially love the textured look of the material, although, like I said before, I think it's also the shoe's downfall because it won't stretch with time. It feels much too stiff from the get-go, so I'm most likely going to return them. Disappointed because it's such a fresh looking loafer that would work with most anything.

Wonderful Everyday Earrings
I wear these earrings almost every day -- they've become a total staple. They are tiny but still noticeable, and add a bit of subtle shine to your look. Delicate, but well worth the price.

Best Madewell purchase yet!
I had been eyeing this parka for a few weeks and snatched an XS in green bean when it went on sale. Madewell sizing is all over the map, but generally their brand runs large, sometimes very large. I'm usually a S or 2/4, but took with my chances with XS based on previous experience. It fits like a dream. (I chose "larger than expected" because I intentionally sized down.) It's amazing how much warmth the removable faux shearling provides. When that's removed it becomes the perfect spring/fall jacket. I can't wait to take it traveling in the spring next year. This style of green parka with a hooded fur trim is everywhere, but this is by far the best I've seen. It's not super bulky but it is warm and as flattering as these coats can be. Definitely worth $200. I was teetering between the black and green, but ultimately I'm happy with my decision. This green is very much a neutral and goes with everything. It looks fresh in a way that a cotton black couldn't.
