Still dreaming...
Honestly, I got these because I bought into the K. Jacques hoopla. I'm keeping these because I'm still buying into the K. Jacques hoopla - I finally own a pair! In all honesty though, they run a little small, and are not so comfy overall. Let's face it, a stiff, flat leather sole with no cushion is torture. They don't even look all that fabulous on me either - I wish the leather was a darker tan. Here's the deal: 95% of the time, I'll reach for my Birkenstocks and leave my tres chic K. Jacques in my closet. That French Riviera is calling my name but my reality is a hot Ohio summer, three kids and tired legs. That's fashion for you, babes. Sigh.

My favorite jeans
Love these jeans - own them in black, blue and white. So soft and stretchy yet still feel like a real pair of jeans. I'm 5'6", 130lbs, size 4/6/8. I ordered the 28. Could probably make the 27 work but at my age I prefer a little generosity, and this way the legs are not too tight. Love the high waist - at my age (46) it feels both comfy and appropriate. My only complaint is that I would prefer more of an ankle length (these are full length on me) - but a tailor can fix that problem.

Nice quality, funky size
For me, these jeans ran big in the waist, but tight in the legs. Usually, high-waisted skinny jeans work well for me, because I have to size up to get the waist right, which solves my typical problem of tightness in the calves. However, in this case, I ordered a 28, and the waist was far too loose, and the legs still too tight. I don't know who fits into all these jeans with super skinny legs - I'm a completely normal size 4-6 (27/28 in jeans) with slender legs, and I can't seem to fit into any of them. It's a bummer because I liked the quality of the fabric (nice coverage for white), and the ankle length. Oh well - I'll keep looking!

Fab!
These jeans are heaven. Fit is pretty TTS - I'm usually a 27 - in these I'm a comfy 28 but in high-waisted styles I often have to go up a size anyway. They're actually quite long (even in the short version) - I'm 5'6" and I have to wear heels with these. Color is a beautiful medium blue wash, shape is a classic 70s flare starting exactly at the right point below the knee. Also, in true Stella spirit they're made from organic cotton and washable. Luv! I'm ready to kiss my skinnies goodbye!

Disappointed!
After the glowing reviews I was very disappointed in the quality of this jacket. For $500 I got an unlined polyester jacket that feels like something H&M could have done for $30. Definitely paying overprice for the brand name - not quality. Color is a little too green for my taste, and the size is weird too - fits okay over shoulders and arms, but I could fit a pregnant stomach in the front (not needed in my case). To make matters worse, the jacket has a pen mark or other stain on the front, and Shopbop shipped it in an plastic envelope so that it now looks like it's been crumpled up in a laundry basket for a week. For that kind of money I'd rather pay for shipping and have my item show up in good shape. Not cool - I'm very annoyed.

Jury's out...
Very roomy indeed. Room for me and more of me, even in the XS/S. Very soft and easy - part of me loves this kind of dress, and I could probably live in it this summer. But I can't decide whether I look too much like I'm wearing a nightgown (I got the pink mix color). If I dress it up with some jewelry and heels, it'll probably help - but the whole point of a dress like this is to be casual and comfy. Hm.

Lovely color - great sweater
I love this little cropped sweater - the color is gorgeous (magenta) and the wool is such nice quality, soft and comfy. I've been wearing mine with a matching color tank underneath, since the knit is quite loose with peek-a-boo holes, but a nude tank would do as well. The sleeves are very long - even with the cuff folded up I still have to scrunch the sleeves - but it looks good. I'm usually a size 4-6 and ordered size M and am happy with it. A great style to wear with high-waisted jeans or cords. For those of us with less than perfect abs: beware the cropped shape - a low-cut jean will leave an exposed midriff!

Disappointed!
Oh wow, this sweater was a disappointment on so many levels! The color was blah and the small bright-colored dots were not nearly enough to make up for it. The size was way off - I'm usually anywhere from a size 2 to a size 6, and in MbMJ I'm usually a Small but I ordered the Medium just to be safe. The sweater was very short, and the sleeves were WAY too narrow on me - tight and uncomfortable making it impossible to wear anything underneath - which is a disaster since the very wooly wool of this sweater is quite itchy. I wore the sweater for about five seconds, and was nothing short of desperate to yank it back off. Returning it in a jiffy!

Chic but not a good fit
Love the look and vibe of these sandals - decided to splurge on them because I was convinced they would be my go-tos for pretty much everything all summer. Well - they would have been if they had worked. The size was right but the shoe rubbed my heel and it hurt too much to ignore. Also, for my narrow feet I had to tighten the buckles to the point where it made the shoe look funny. Very sad I had to let them go...

Soft, comfy and cute
I'm in love with this simple dress - the fabric is super soft and comfortable, and the length on me (5'6") is good (to the floor). I'm usually a size 4-6 and I got this in S - perfect. It fits me on top too even though I'm flat - it's pretty stretchy though so would probably work for curvier girls too. I also like that I can wear a (racerback) bra with it - and it looks cute too with white tank layered. The combination of long length with casual color, fabric and style works great for me - wear it with flip-flops everyday - dress it up with jewelry etc for other occasions. I've been amazed how many dresses say 'dry clean only' - a deal breaker for me because I sweat too much - but this one is machine wash & tumble dry. Halleluja!
