Rich Color, but Beware the Stretch-Out!
This is one of the most beautiful shades of blue for the coming season and as usual, the quality and fit of Vince is spectacular. However, this is the first Vince sweater I've ever had that stretched out. It bagged in the elbows and even looked a couple of inches longer by the end of the day. I put it in a cool dryer for about 20 minutes and it got close to its original shape. I marked it true to size, but if the stretch-out potential bothers you as much as it does me, go down one size. Otherwise, a perfectly lightweight cashmere, transition-to-Fall sweater!

Walking on British Cobblestone
I have a long-standing love affair with Hunter wellies and this pair takes the line's typical boots up a notch with the bi-tonal color and the metal logo plate. I'm typically a 9.5 in most shoes, but since these come in whole sizes only, I always go with a 9 and they are still large enough to comfortably fit a pair of socks and/or slide over skinny pants. Since I live in SoCal where rain isn't that common, I tend to wear Hunters as I would any other pair of boots. I always get compliments and no one seems to notice (or care) that these are primarily meant for wet weather. Absolutely fabulous boots that can be worn with just about anything other than trouser pants.

Beautiful Transition Piece
I've purchased several Torn dresses over the past couple of years, but this one is the best of the bunch. The blush hue contrasted with the black, especially with the black framing the front and back of the dress, gives your body the most flattering shape, achieving both a willowy frame and curves in all the right places. As a tall woman (5'10), I really love that FINALLY, Torn has created a dress that truly hits right above the knee, as shown on the model. I tend to go with a large for dresses from this line, but that's to gain a couple of inches of length. Given that's not an issue with this dress, the medium would have worked, too. The knit is lightweight and the colors are seasonless so this is a true wear it now and later dress. I love how it's been styled with black booties, but I wore it with blush colored heels to a work event and it was perfectly professional. You can't beat the pricepoint either -- the quality is exceptional. It's a head-turner!

Another Fab Silky Blouse from Equipment
Over the past year, Equipment has become one of my favorite go-to brands. They do silky button-downs better than most any other brand. This particular blouse is just as spectacular in fit, feel, and quality as every other Equipment blouse I have so what really sets it off is the print. I'm not a huge fan of snake or animal print anything, but the muted colors of this particular python print are neither overdone or cheap-looking (my two main complaints about these types of prints). And the black piping details on the front pocket and cuffs give it a touch of extra glam. I've found that medium and large are almost identical from this line so unless the large is sold out, that's the size I go with. It tends to offer maybe another couple of inches in length and perhaps the slightest bit more give in the bust. Love it!

Beautiful Color and Sumptious Feel
The color of this DVF sweater is "lemon," but in-person, it's actually a slightly warmer shade which makes it prettier, in my opinion. The cashmere is feather-light and the fit is flowy and relaxed. The only reason I designated it as "larger than expected" is because it's much wider than it looks on the model, and that broadness also makes it look cropped. I was worried, but after trying it on, the hem hangs so that the sweater truly is longer than you'll think it is when you first take it out of the box. The shorts the sweater is styled with in the picture is a fabulous look that I can't wait to try, but I also really like it's versatility. I'm thinking it will look equally terrific with black skinny jeans and flats, and later, with boots. Expensive, but it's a great piece that will get a lot of wear.

OMG!
I LOVE this micro mini! The color is positively gorgeous and it is going to look fabulous with almost any neutral (definitely not white). The fit is true to size -- I ordered size 44 and it's a tad loose around the waist, but I prefer that -- and because of how it's cut, the skirt lies snugly over the bottom and doesn't scootch up as you move. There are endless options for how to style this skirt. Plus, extra benefit is that it can be worn starting now straight through winter. It's lightweight, but the colors make it a perfect staple to begin building next season's wardrobe.

Limitless Jean Mini
I've been searching for the perfect jean miniskirt and this is it. I have the J Brand jeans in the same railroad stripe and love them so I knew I couldn't go wrong with the skirt. I'm 5'10 and in order to make this skirt wearable, I had to size up (I'm usually a 28 in J Brand denim) in order to gain a couple of inches in length. I ordered a 30; the waist sits perfectly on my hips and makes the skirt a decent length without losing the mini look. This is a great summer skirt and will be a good transition piece to Fall. The options of what to pair with this item are limitless!

Super Cute Tee, but Surprisingly Big
ALC tends to make tiny tops so I generally order a Large -- and I did that with this tee -- and surprise, it's bigger (looser, less of a shape) than any other ALC top, tee or otherwise, that I've ever purchased. Regardless, I'll keep it, and just work it with a more fitted bottom like short shorts or white skinny jeans. The mint stripe is super light and overall, this tee is super cute and a great piece. But size down unless you want the oversized look.

Love the Zipper Detail!
These are the cutest denim capri pants. The light striping is already fun, but the zipper detail on the back of each leg makes the pant! J Brand are always true to size for me and this pair was no different. I don't own a lot of bottoms that I think look that great with flats, but these paired really well with simple flat tan sandals and a striped Joie silk tank. White t-shirt, neon, primary colors... these jeans will work with just about any top.

Sexiest WEARABLE Dress Ever, BUT...
I had tried on this dress at a local boutique in order to know whether to buy a medium or large. I went with the Large because of my height (5'10). Parker tends to run small, in my opinion, but in their dresses, length always determines what size I'll go with. This dress is so slinky and has sex appeal to spare, but it's also extremely wearable. This dress is definitely a head-turner, but it also offers plenty of coverage in all of the right places so you're free to really move and not worry about whether you're being indecent. I recommend buying an Only Hearts bralet or similar item to put under this dress for anyone who has a size B/C or larger; I'm a C and I feel more comfortable with the addition of a "meant-to-be-seen" bra underneath. Unfortunately, I had to RETURN the dress because when it arrived, there were several loose sequins and beading. I'm usually very happy with the quality of the item when it arrives, but this was a mess. I ended up buying it at the boutique afterall.
