Too big and too light
I was so excited for these (maybe too much?) to be my most useful winter shoe; the shoe where even if people weren't jealous I would think they should be because I had found the one item that perfectly merges style and utility. Wrong. They looked good but were a huge disappointment and I returned them within 24 hours of trying them on. You can tell the wedge is hollow. Which means these shoes aren't as sturdy as one would think. It made them feel cheap and clumsy to me. Also, even with socks these were at least a half size too big all around.

Too long all around
The sleeves are long, the cape (back, top layer) is long, and the collar is long if you button it all the way up. I'm getting this tailored- meaning I'm keeping it- because the fabric is AMAZING and this can't look too wide on anyone (most of the time button downs look like snuggies on me). I probably won't order another Tibi top though because their sizing is obviously big.

In true Sam Edelman fashion
This is my second pair of snakeskin Sam Edelman flats and I think these are the better pair. Sam Edelman materials tend to feel thin to me; so much so that my big toe would visibly poke up on the material of my previous flats. With this cap toe that is not an issue! This shoe fits and the colors work well. Initially I was worried that these shoes wouldn't go with anything I have but upon seeing them I think they are very versatile! They are comfy because they are adequately lined on the inside.

Brighter and sparklier in person
Two negatives about this shoe: 1 The toe box (as you can tell from the pics) is very small/narrow. I'm normally a 6.5 US and I can fit in them but just barely. You can definitely go a half size up in these, no problem. 2 These shoes are possibly only appropriate footwear for NYE. The sparkle and pink element is pretty intense. The actual color is a little too... "fairy princess". Otherwise, it's a well made shoe and the design or cut is reminiscent of old school pumps.

Not as great as the last one I bought
I have never bought a dress in multiple colors/fabrics until this dress. During the summer I purchased this dress in light purple (non-velvet) and it exceeded my expectations. This is particularly true because it was my first ever Alice + Olivia purchase. Fast forward to this dress: Material is way too thin (feels cheap, like it's going to fall apart on me) and the arm holes are cut really deep. The arm holes expose my bra and there is no way you can't wear a bra with the thin fabric! These design flaws were not present in the previous dress but this is totally making me reconsider Alice + Olivia. I've returned this item.

Half size big but too awesome to pass up
I'm usually a 6.5 US but based on the reviews I went for a 7 and they fit perfect. I purchased these in red and am guaranteed to be complimented multiple times whenever I go out in them. Also, they have an impressive amount of padding in the soles so they wear well.

Versatile but a tad big
I bought this blazer in the light greyish purple color. It's nice quality and light but it's a little too big. Also, the sleeves are lined and the lining bulges out of the sleeves when you push the sleeves up your arms. Finally, the fabric stains pretty easily (not a permanent stain but that just means it requires regular washing).

Well made but not wearable
Obviously the quality of the fabric and sewing is impeccable (standard DVF). Nonetheless, this dress is a huge disappointment to me because unless you have legs like the model you're going to look like a creepy 1800's porcelain play doll. The reason: The skirt portion puckers up and out waaaay more and the entire fit is waaaay longer on shorter people. Seriously, the skirt puffs out so much it looks like an absurd Lady Gaga outfit. Otherwise, the lace around the collar is elegant and the color is gorgeous! I wish I could keep this but if I saw anyone wearing this I would probably cringe.

Tiiight
This dress is well made and I am convinced it would look excellent on anyone... if you can get it on. Once I actually got the dress on it didn't feel or look tight but the sleeve openings and bottom of the dress are totally inelastic so good luck getting the dress over your rump and putting your hands through the armholes. Once on, my only grievance is that the side zipper is a little obnoxious and doesn't always lay flat on the body (it kind of puckers out or rides up into your armpit. I would not have paid full price for this dress but I'm also not returning this. I turned heads in this dress!

Expected a tighter/tougher material
But otherwise this is a good piece. It is definitely versatile if you are in a beach environment (for wearing during swim or just around). You can basically wear any plain bottoms with this top for swimming. The sleeves are a little little more ugly in person and it's longer on me than the model (but the model has about 7 inches on me lol). Under $100 is the right price.
