A burst of flattering colour
I bought this blouse in the peppy pink colour and it is simply gorgeous. As another reviewer stated, it is really a coral pink which would flatter and 'brighten' many skin tones. The tailoring is superb, with beautifully finished French seams. The neckline is low but I noticed that the blouse comes with little press stud bra strap holders, which helps the neckline stay in place. It is true to DVF size. I am an Australian size 10 and I bought my usual DVF size 8 for a perfect fit. Petites may find that the sleeves come right down to the wrist bone unllike the website image. But considering the quality and price, this piece is excellent value.

A dress with attitude
Opinions about this dress seem to be polarising - you either love it or you don't. I absolutely adore it. Yes, it is a boxy cut and an oversized fit but while the dress covers a wearer's contours, the wearer herself actually becomes highly visible in this eyecatching design. So, expect admiring looks. The fabric is a substantial opaque silk that drapes beautifully. All you would need accessories wise are bold heels, one piece of statement jewellery and a whole lot of attitude!

Attainable glamour
The 'Abigail' dress has become a firm favourite of mine. What seems like a conservative garment on a clothes hanger becomes something very flattering, sexy and alluring when worn. Somehow this elongated version of the classic DVF wrap dress exudes a different kind of glamour from the shorter version. I know I walk more confidently when I wear this dress which definitely draws appraising looks. Where it fails, in my opinion, is the inconsistent sizing compared to the usual DVF sizing, hence the 4 stars. I am usually a size 8 in DVF dresses but had to take a size 10 for this one! The sleeves, shoulders and bust seem more fitted than other DVF wraps. But other than that I'm in love with this dress.

MJ's done it again
This is such a cute top - a simple design with a stylish art deco twist. Great fabric and low maintenance. I ordered it in the 'black multi' which goes with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe. This top will be a staple come the hot Aussie summer.

I'm impressed
I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I bought the 'wine' colour and it is gorgeous. The washed silk makes this shirt fall even more beautifully than a silk crepe de chine, perhaps. In saying so the washed effect gives the 'wine' colour a dusty, slightly worn in look - but very stylish of course. Since this was my first Equipment shirt I ordered my usual size - it's good for a relaxed, androgynous look that I can wear tucked in or wear as a tunic. But if you want to wear the shirt underneath a semi-fitted jacket you may want to consider sizing down bearing in mind that the bottom part of the shirt should fit your hips since it's long. Now I wonder what colour I should order next?!

Not the 'Julian' that I know
The 'Julian' is one of my favourite DVF wrap dress styles so I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of this 'new Julian' dress. But...what a disappointment! Firstly the sizing is larger than my 'old Julians'. Then I noticed that the silk jersey fabric seemed thinner than what DVF has used in the past and the neckline facing is not sewn into a seam, so it kept slipping out. Plus this particular print looked really dull in real life. I was hugely disappointed so I returned this dress. I hope DVF doesn't alter any aspect of my other favourite wrap dress, the 'Justin' or else I'll cry.

Great jeans if only......
This was my first J Brand purchase and I think it'll probably be my last. I don't think J Brands are made for my body type which is petite and curvy. On a hunch I bought one size up from my usual size. I found the waist to be quite loose but this can easily be fixed by wearing a belt, but the knees are quite fitted. However, the fabric is fabulous and that's the main reason I'm keeping this purchase.

Quirky little dress - love it!
Purchasing this dress was a gamble because I had no sense of how it would fit by just looking at the picture. However I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it. On average I'm an Australian size 10 & US size 8, so I ordered this dress in size M and it turned out to be perfect. In fact someone of similar build with a really toned physique can even fit into a size S, I'm sure. I was also worried it was going to be too long, as I'm only a shortie. But it hits just at my ankle,so I don't have to have it hemmed up. I love the fabric; it's a substantial jersey which is not see through but is light enough for the upcoming Australian spring. Overall great piece from MJ.

Super comfy dress
This is a great dress. It has a slight A-line and because the colour block panels are cut on the bias, it has a distinct 'swing' to it. The fabric has a lovely drape, so although the dress is a loose fit I think it will flatter most body types. It's transeasonal - can be worn as it is as a summer dress or worn with footless tights, flats or ankle boots and topped with a little leather jacket. It's washable too, so it really ticks a lot of the right boxes! Recommend.

Taste of summer
I ordered this top just before going on a European vacation, and I am glad I did. The top is simply so chic as vacation wear. I took into account what other reviewers said about the armholes being small in spite of the generous cut of the blouse, so I ordered my usual DVF size and didn't size down. I can't wait for the weather in Australia to warm up (it's still winter here) so this top can have it's southern hemisphere debut!
