The Definition of Casual Chic
I think this is the perfect addition to any summer wardrobe. The material is so soft to the touch and gently skims the body. I love the breezy semi-sheer quality, but if you hate the idea of your bra showing through tank tops then this is not the product for you. I'm a 2 and found the loose fit perfect, since it's so sheer I think a tighter fit would cheapen the product. The lower hemline makes it perfect for wearing with leggings, but I think it looks best when teamed with indigo shades of denim. I'd say that the color is a little darker than pictured, and the neckline is not as deeply scooped as on the model. The delicate material is really susceptible to friction, lint and general damage!!! It can be a transseasonal product if layered with the right items, and it's really just a great basic that won't go out of style.

Great Colour, a Few Negatives
I love PDB skirts for several reasons; they're made of a thick poly and rubber blend that pulls the body in to create a streamlined silhouette, they're cut higher at the front than at the back so as not to cut unflatteringly across the center of the stomach, they don't ride up while wearing like a lot of bodycon skirts and, basically, they're the Herve Leger style without the price. I also love the colour of this product, less bright than pictured and a great girly touch to an outfit without looking juvenile. However, this older line of skirts (the $88 ones) have quite a few negatives. They're abrasive on the inside, making them very uncomfortable after several hours. They're overly stiff, you definitely need to size up. I'm a 2 and struggled to even get into the XS. If you love the look of this skirt, I'd definitely go for one of the newer PDB items, which have more rubber in them and are softer and shiner.

Perfect Once You Size Up
This newer line of PDB skirts are stretchier than the older products, as they contain a higher percentage of rubber. I definitely didn't find this one as stiff as the $88 ones I bought from the first line, but would still recommend going up a size. I'm a 2 and would normally buy a XS, but always have to buy an S in PDB, like other reviewers have noted for the other skirts. XS is definitely only for a true 0. The newer line of skirts are also less abrasive on the inside. All PDB skirts are higher at the front than at the back, meaning they don't cut unflatteringly across the centre of the stomach. My favorite point is that the thick polyester blend pulls everything in for a very streamlined silhouette. However, this can make the skirt a bit restricting. I love this gold colour, it's not as glittery as pictured and can be worn during the day as well. I love that the Herve Leger bandage style I have always lusted for is available in the form of very affordable pieces from this designer.
